A TASTE OF BEV

Living in Portland, OR, we're surrounded by some serious foodie culture. Maybe too serious.

I wrote and directed this parody cooking series to bring a little off-beat comedy to the all-too-serious culinary world.

Every great show needs a great theme song and Bev is no exception. Learn the words and sing along with your mouthhole!
Who's hungry?! Meet Beverly Philip-Sousa - host of "A Taste of Bev." In episode one, she'll teach you how to make her famous Snicker Salad while getting deeply personal about her son, Amos. Produced by Hidden City Films Directed by Taylor Siolka & Sean Blixseth Starring Jason Rouse www.hiddencityfilms.com
Cooking with marijuana may be legal in Oregon, but it ain't legal in the eyes of the Lord. See how Bev handles a sticky situation when guest chef Leather Storrs brings an unexpected ingredient into her kitchen.
No hot dogs in the fridge? No problem! Special guest Byron Beck gives Bev the lowdown on the best restaurants to visit in Portland when you ain't got no food at home to cook.

Bev goes live! For Design Week Portland 2018, we put on an event called “Food for Thought, Bev for Laughs.” A mixture of education and entertainment, we had a panel of experts including a food blogger, food stylist, and graphic designers, come in and talk about the role of design in the food and beverage industry. But to add a little spice to the evening, we brought Bev in to moderate the discussion in character. We premiered the final episode at the event as well and the evening was a huge success.
